The original social network! Held at various businesses throughout the Elgin area, these networking events provide the opportunity to meet other Chamber members on a more informal basis. Business Guide and Community Guide
Business Directory and Community Guide, The Elgin Advantage, is produced annually and is used by members and visitors alike who are seeking products or services. All members receive a free listing and a free copy of the publication. Each member receives one free listing but duplicate listings and display ads can help assure that your company is top-of-mind all year long. Over 5,000 copies of the Business Directory and Community Guide are distributed each year. Contact the Chamber if you would like a bundle of this publication for your office.

The Economic Development program of the Elgin Area Chamber is your best resource for a full range of site location services and market information. EXPOS
Nothing beats face-to-face contact with prospective customers, and the Business-to-Business and/or the Hablamos Español Expo will give your business tremendous opportunity for that!

The Business-to-Business Expo, Rolling Down the River, is a multi-Chamber event held annually in the spring at the Pheasant Run Mega Center in St. Charles, IL.

Hablamos Español Expo is also an annual event, typically held in March at the Centre of Elgin.

Both offer you an array of opportunities to showcase your business. Be sure to check our communications or web site calendar for notices and announcements of these two events or you may also contact Jeanette Mihalec to learn more.

Member Orientation Breakfast
Whether you have just joined the Chamber or you are a new representative for your company, join us for the Member Orientation. This highly interactive meeting is designed to welcome you and your company to the Chamber. At this meeting, you will learn how to maximize the value of your membership through the variety of programs and services listed here. You will meet the Chamber staff, as well as the Chamber Ambassadors. Bring your business cards!

Newsletter, The Business Review
The Chamber newsletter is produced monthly and distributed to 1,700 members. You can also read the Business Review Online (see left column). News releases about member businesses are accepted.

Ribbon Cuttings & Ground Breakings
By organizing a ribbon cutting or ground breaking ceremony, Chamber Staff and our volunteer Ambassador Committee members can help you gain attention if you are a new business, have plans to expand, remodel or relocate your existing business. If you are celebrating an anniversary or special promotion, they can also help with that by increasing your company's visibility through official Chamber events.
