The most important decision you can make is where your child begins his or her formal education.
We at Children of America know about teaching young children. Many of our Kindergarten students are graduates of our early childhood education programs.
We focus our program's learning outcomes on the social, emotional, physical, creative, linguistic and cognitive nees of each child.
The classroom is child centered with accessible and available learning centers including language and literacy, reading, mathematics, journaling, social studies, science, nutrition, computers, music and movement and physical fitness.
We design our curriculum to correlate with the local school districts for reading and math. Our teachers individually assess our studies by using assessment tools. We incorporate critical thinking and logic through the use of three Step tray Tasking, written by our Vice President of Education, Dr. Vicki Folds, which focuses on organizational thinking skills.
To reinforce reading and math skills we introduce students to our Journeys into Early Music series that coordinates movement, decoding, rhythm, beats and playing resonator bars which integrates a student's multiple intelligences to advance in learning.
We want your child to Learn in ways that are challengin, have many first-hand experiences, become independent learners, and learn to organize thoughts and actions.
We offer full day kindergarten, kindergarten enrichment for children who attend public school, as well as a before and after school program and summer camp. Call 847-695-2389 today to register.
